In May it is time again, everything that has rank and name and is active in the field of weight management, meets at the international conference of the “Society of Allied Weight Engineers”.

For more than 20 years we have been supporting very large, large and also small companies as first and 2nd level support for various engineering applications such as CAD and PLM Tools, DOORS, MATLAB or similar.

In cooperation with Bombardier Transportation, usb applied for a research project last year. The aim is to develop an alternative drive train for rail vehicles. Weight reduction plays a central role here. The Mass Management Software M³ already in use at BT is to be expanded to analyse the weight reduction potentials and transfer them to other projects. The consortium for this 3-year research project also includes the Fraunhofer Institute IISB, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the companies Jenoptik and VIPCO.

On 29.03.2019 our CM Networking Event took place for the fourth time.

Our CMPIC spring course took place for the first time in our new training room in Taufkirchen. Also this year we have many participants from different industries. All participants confirm that they can apply the course contents directly in their daily work and thus benefit us directly.

We congratulate our 8 CMPIC training participants on passing the certification.
